Revo Carbon Series Airbox Lid & Turbo Inlet Hose Kit
The Revo Carbon Lid & Turbo Inlet Hose Kit has been designed and engineered to directly replace the stock airbox lid, pipe and elbow found in vehicles with the 1.8/2.0 TFSI/TSI engines with an IHI turbo. The Revo Carbon Lid offers a high quality replacement, with its contoured design it not only just aesthetically pleasing but designed to improve airflow and performance of your vehicle.
OEM VS Carbon Intake
With ample efficiency for a stock vehicle, the OEM system quickly becomes a choking point for the engine when running Revo software. The Revo Carbon Lid has been designed to increase airbox volume and promote smoother airflow. The closed air system helps eliminate heat soak whilst directing cold air through its curved design directly to the oversized outlet. With a 16% larger outlet, the Carbon Lid drastically improves the rate at which air can flow, ensuring maximum performance at even stage 3 specification.
Silicone Hose Design
The Revo Turbo Inlet Hose as an increased inner diameter to match the large carbon lid outlet that then gradually tapers to the turbo to optimise airflow, while maintaining the tolerances required to fit both LHD and RHD vehicles. Designed to replace the plastic hose and turbo elbow, this upgrade reduces restriction and maximises smooth airflow improving both power and torque throughout the rev range.
The Revo Turbo Inlet replaces the restrictive elbow found on the IS20/IS38 turbos. The billet aluminium piece securely fits the OE unit using locking tabs and integrated o-rings. With almost double the cross-sectional area compared to other available products, air can stabilise and distribute before a smooth tapered transition to the turbo. Removing the internal steps between components ensures smooth and linear airflow transition between elements, providing uninterrupted airflow and removing any unnecessary turbulence.
